Domiciliary Payment Update, 25 May 2006

The Practitioner Services Division (PSD) have notified Optometry Scotland of a problem concerning payments for domiciliary visits.  Certain fee codes have not been paid.  Approximately 100 practices  are affected.  PSD is to make interim payments to cover the shortfall and has amended its system to prevent the recurrence of this error.  PSD will send a letter to all practices involved.
